How to live a healthy life in 2014?

New Year event has arrived. We will be celebrating New Year event in a few hours. It is time to make some planning and goal setting for the upcoming year. While working on your plans do not forget about your health. In most instances, we do not have goals like improving our stamina and other health goals. Do remember that your health is as much important as your financial status.
So here are some old golden tips to live a healthy life in 2014, do remember them. It is the old advice in a new pattern:
Health Care
Most of us have signed up for Obama health care policy. If you have signed up that is good, if not it is okay. To live a healthy life it is important to know the importance of health care. While you are writing your plan of 2014, do write down when you are going to meet your physician for your annual checkup. When is the annual meeting with your dentist? Write down these routines. Are you going to join the gym or not? If not, why not? Write down these details before the first week of January 2014.
Drinking water
In the beginning I mentioned that this is the old golden advice repeated again and again. Drinking water should be your habit. If you are drinking 8 glasses of water daily or more then you need not to change this habit. But if you are just drinking 2 to 3 glasses per day then make a plan to change this habit.
Exercise
What about exercise? It is best to consult your physician for this purpose. He can prescribe an exercise routine for you. Do follow it, join gym or slimming center. Exercise is important, so make sure exercise has some place in your health plans.
Joining a gym or slimming center is the best option; because they will keep you on track of your health goals and plans. They will motivate you and will help you lose weight and improve your health.
If you feel shortage of time than it is better to walk daily for 15 to 30 minutes. Do cardiovascular exercise 3 days in week. They will keep you fit and healthy.
Fruits and vegetables
How much fruits and vegetables do you eat per day? Per week? If it is hard to make specific diet plans and stick to them; try five healthy meals in a week. Make a weekly plan instead of daily plans.
Sleep
Do you sleep 8 hours per night? If not, it is time to adjust your timetable and working routines. I know you have much to do in this year but you have to make a plan that is productive for you and your health. Adjust your time; you must sleep for 8 hours. It is important for your health. When you are healthy, you neglect your health but eventually you will have to pay the price of your neglection.
